When I sell my music on my website it allows me to sell to the whole world. Not just my local fans but to fans in every state even across the seas which I’m proud to say I continually do because of my discovery of this method.
What I want to do for you is show you how I sell my music on my website. Along with assure you that music sales aren’t dead for artist. Fans are just smarter now because they are looking for the best value for there money rather than just buying anything at all. They aren’t looking for a cd with 30 tracks anymore because they are looking for there favorite songs now. iTunes made this possible for music fans and so should you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a 30 track cd and selling one or two songs 50,000 times for 99cents each, because the money is still green and the money is still yours, right?
What I advise you to do is not be one of these artists out here that thinks that times don’t change. Because personally I had this view before I started to sell my music on my website. No one thought that the computer and internet would be such a big part of our lives like they are today. Just as no one thinks that older people know what there talking about because there older until you experience what they’ve spoken of. This is just a fact, just like I sell my music on my website you have to learn to also.
I sell my music on my website because I understand this is where my fans will look first. This saves them time and money from having to drive around town and they also can pick which songs they want while I still get paid no matter what song they buy. Just think about how much money you’re losing when you have a concert at night which is always after store hours. Wouldn’t it be easier to say that I sell my music on my website and you can get that song there for 99cents when you get home? You could even have fliers with your website address that your fans could take with them because this will re-enforce the sale. Or do you think fans will buy your $20 cd at the concert that was only $5 to get into?
